"R3" Multi-family Residential District

The “R3”, Multi-Family Residential District is intended to provide for multi-family residential developments. The provisions that regulate this land use district should promote the adequate provision of open spaces, living areas, and vehicle parking. The Plan Commission should strive to integrate this district with higher-density, single-family residential developments and neighborhood-serving and general commercial facilities. This district should be protected from conflicting land uses and be located in proximity to open space, services, and retail establishments.
